What is MOBspree?

MOBspree is a simple and cost-effective way for fitness related businesses to use mobile apps to reach out to their members, clients, and students. Social calendaring, geo-mapping, push notifications are just a few of the features that bring amazing results.

Before MOBspree, there were only two ways to build an iPhone app: 1) Spend months learning how to program for mobile devices, or 2) Hire a developer for up to $50,000 or more to build an app for you.

Why do I need an iPhone or Android App?

Smartphones are replacing many of the tasks people once did on their computers. Mobile computing is here to stay and in the near future, having your own a mobile app will be just as important as having a website! Don’t let someone else claim your mobile domain!

What about a mobile web site?

Mobile web sites are important too, but they just don’t deliver the same experience as an app. Apps are more responsive, easier to access, create a durable icon on the users phone, and stick around longer. That said, we’re dedicated to integrating your content wherever you users are, that’s why we’re working on mobile web apps as well. stay tuned and soon you’ll be publishing on mobile web right along with your app with just a single click of a button.

Does MOBspree do business outside the US?

We will work with anyone in any country as long as an app store is available. Right now however the only language we support is English. That said, as more of our clients have a need to publish in a certain language, we’ll support it.

Who can use MOBspree? Do I need to be a programmer?

That’s the best part, unlike the many self-serve platforms out there that charge the same or more than we do, we won’t ask you to get in and do the work yourself. No matter how much it’s automated, doing it yourself still requires that you take your time to complete it. MOBspree is full service and we handle everything for you. From graphics to final app store submission, we do all the work on your mobile apps so you can focus on your business.

Can I leverage social media and web APIs?

Yes, we can easily connect to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and thousands of other useful APIs for you.

I’d like to offer some functionality in my app, can you customize it for me?

Certainly, using our Framework Extensions any mobile optimized website can integrate seamlessly into your app and take advantage of all the native features an app provides. Framework extensions come with our ProPlus Account.

What devices do you support?

We currently support all iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and the majority of Android powered devices.

How long will it take to get my app in the App Store?

This approval process for iPhone apps can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, and is completely out of our control. During this process, Apple may occasionally reject an app for various reasons. If that happens on your app, we’ll work through the issues with them until it is approved.

Does the app have to be updated in the app store whenever I want update my content?

NO! MOBspree apps are dynamic, and that means that everything in your app can be modified and optimized on the fly. And when we say everything, we even everything, from buttons, sections, colors, content, everything. Additionally, all external content is dynamic too, so the second you update content in a one of your sources like YouTube, or twitter, your app will automatically display that new content. No resubmission required! So blog, tweet, post videos with confidence that your content will be immediately to your entire user base.

Can I switch from one payment level to another?

Yes. You may upgrade or downgrade your pricing plan at any time. The only thing to keep in mind is that each pricing plan has its own set of app features that are included. So if you downgrade to a plan that doesn’t include some of the features you are currently using in your app, those features will be removed once you have selected to downgrade.
